As less and less BTC is becoming available for purchase, redefining what a Satoshi is does make sense. BTC will be a store of value asset and as more and more people are holding onto their coins. its price will have nowhere to go but up in the long term.

i have definitely had this thought. my thought was more like splitting btc like a stock split. but that might go against the idea of only having 21 million coins.
