While it isn't ideal... Higher STEEM prices leads to more traffic and user retention of Steemit.... more traffic and users leads to higher STEEM prices. So let's hope this rocket ship takes off soon!
However, I do wish it were the other way around where organic user growth developed from word of mouth/social media build traffic --> STEEM prices. But maybe that'll change next year.
STEEM has more resistance than other top cryptos when a whale is selling out in volumes. However, it is good for long term since it is still not well distributed and need more time.
