The Internet was a bit of a novelty in 1993. If we look at how cryptocurrency as a whole compares to the Internet itself in 1993, we can see a better illustration of where crypto is currently in it's lifecycle.
The Internet in 1993 was a concept that a vast majority of people could not wrap their heads around or understand it's benefits, along with it's future impact on the world.
This chart shows that comparison spanning over 20 years.

I'm not sure about the comparison. In 1993 the Internet was completely new platform and technology, whereas the crypto market is not new and has already had a bubble and crash, in 1993 there were no internet stocks & 1993 was the ground floor for Internet in every way, but we are not at the ground floor in crypto, BTC is 6700, that is a very high price, the price has already gone up more than it ever will percentage wise. 1000x gains are a thing of the past.

This chart isn't focused on price speculation, putting price aside, this should be looked as a comparison of where the penetration is with comparison to the Internet itself. The current Crypto landscape is comparable to 1998 Internet.
