I did not really like splitting idea, but it helped Ethereum a lot.
I think that BTC split will make a lot of people to jump to ETH just to store some money, maybe LTC also. In the other hand who knows what will happen to BCC, as it is starting to skyrocket at the moment, but that may be for a while and then fall in shadow...
