Still paper profits, so they don't count I would think.. No crypto counts until you convert is to FIAT

    What about straight transfer within Steemit ? for goods or services ?

      If you are at any point "selling" your coin for something else it would be taxable. If I sold BTC to buy LTC, any gain on BTC prior to the sale would be taxable.
