It seems a $2,000 dollar price for Bitcoin is only a matter of time!
After maintaining a strong momentum for three days, Bitcoin has established a new all-time high at $1,954 on Bitstamp today. On Bitfinex, where Bitcoin is being traded at a premium, the price of $2,000 has already been hit a few hours ago.
Technical Analysis
I don't expect the $2000 barrier will be broken easily. It's first of all a very strong psychological resistance level, but it's also the 138.2% fibonacci extension since the last correction (The 15% correction from $1890 to $1600 a week ago). Many short term traders will probably take some profit here.

Well, the rallye is gorgeous, but also 2000 will be only a short resistance. In the blogs about gold and silver it is currently broadly discussed, that bitcoin cannot be uncovered shorted. So why should we play the dirty game against the banksters?

As far as I know options are not available for cryptocurrencies yet. There are CFD's for Bitcoin, but not for altcoins as far as I know.

I think that yes bitcoin will grow in price to $ 2100 and then it will settle down to $ 2000 and maybe even lower, so to speak.

yep agree, might see profit taking on a spike higher. We havent really had the super spikes from previous moves, like u wake up on monday and it is at 2500.
