As usual, great info!

This lack of replay protection makes this fork different from what happened with bitcoin cash & possibly bitcoin gold. In this case, unlike before, I prefer to let an exchange, hopefully a trusted one that has previously displayed enough technical expertise, handle the Segwit2x forking for me. My own technical expertise is not good enough to do this myself in my own wallet (in this case, electrum). So the question now is choosing the right exchange...
