I first learned of Facebook (FB) when my brother came home from William & Mary in 2005. He explained that it was a way to keep in touch with your friends all the time. The idea sounded silly to me.
I opened my first FB account about three years ago when I started writing my book Financial Judo. I did't really want to join FB, but it seemed like the best place to send my message of sound money, Austrian economics and limited government.
Before long, it became clear that the FB platform easily advanced "progressive" ideas while stifling the message of liberty.
FB is not the only social network that has taken staunch opposition against libertarians. YouTube and Twitter have also been exposed as having a bias against anyone who holds a small government viewpoint.
It became clear that I had no choice but to take my talent to a free market platform that might even reward me for my content. With encouragement from @marketreport and @dollarvigilante, I joined Steemit in May 2017. I'll be posting far more frequently from now on.
I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have for making this page better. Thanks for the feedback and the follow!

Thanks for that suggestion! I'll have to figure out how to do that.
