Hi yes,
Well, it is a play on words
Most vegans abstain from eating animal products for moral reasons and care for ones self and that of animals.
Trying to abstain from the current money or financial system would be for moral reasons too.
To help others and to help ones self. As the current money system we have is broken and unjust.
Going vegan is a massive change for many in habits AND and really good statement and moral gesture too.
And we should apply this to how we deal with money as well.
I hope that helps a bit
Yes it does help, you're using veganism interchangingly with abstaining, or consideration.
But why would you or anyone want to abstain from money altogether? It's not like it's made of flesh.

Very true,
I would see it as abstaining from parts of the money system, not all
As with veganism, it is abstaining from the bad parts of the food system, not all parts of the food system.
My wish is also to promote veganism, which is important, I am sure you would agree.
Although I do it with a heavy heart as I think that in the future the vegan movement might get high jacked by segments of the Elite and Social Control structure in the West like what seems to have happened to the liberal / democratic parties.
