Given the current status of the blockchain market it is in our view that we should all begin referring to DigiByte and other blockchains as a "Digital Asset".
Referring to DigiByte as "currency," "coin," "token," or "money" often confuses people and does not full describe the fact DGB has properties of multiple valuable assets and is capable of much more.
For four years now exchange rates have wildly fluctuated for all major blockchains. Given this inheritant nature of "Digital Assets" it becomes very difficult for a "crypto currency" to gain widespread everyday use for payments without exposing merchants to risks.
Until public blockchains reach a much much broader adoption it is best to describe"DigiByte" as a scarce "Digital Asset" that can be easily traded and transferred and used to secure and store other valuable forms of data and information.
