"Put your money where your mouth is" by Tyler Winklevoss, the founder of crypto exchange Gemini, who answered Bill Gates after he had said that he would short bitcoin if he could.
For me, it's just said to see Bill Gates - someone who brought the world important technological innovations - not supporting a promising technological leap such as this of Bitcoin...
What are your thoughts on this?
Good wishes @ricardogoncalves,

sad indeed, means he's getting old after all i guess , but in order to dump it to the point where he can short it he would have to buy an immense amount first so i hope he comes to his senses and stays out of whatever he cant control ... for everyone involved, i have no idea why buffett and now gates would go against bitcoin so hard, like you said, its innovation beyond anything the world has seen in decades
its sparking business and with that comes risk, to play mogul in order to "save the old world" is nothing but choke the future, its like enlightened content whales downvoting and flagging while they have ALL that clout they could instead use to help people
no, instead they simply try to break what they cant control, what they don't understand and whatever doesn't do as they say well
i dont think bitcoin is very breakable anymore after more than ten years now, i dont think anyone involved actually knows how old it actually IS
:) dont upvote this (unless you get $5 votes lol) save it for a post that already pays out (>=0.02)
i checked and the news doesnt seem to be fake at first sight . . . usually people like that just need to say it in order to scare investors off, but in this case, the kind that's already investing is not the kind that would scare by classic titans, its a new world after all, but i feel the testosteron emanating from winklevoss isnt helping either so i'm glad gates is not the type to go balls first ... after all, seeing as if he would have to buy in at the hundreds millions, who would benefit most from that ?
he can't be that stupid , lol, let's hope he's not

That's a nice statement! I agree with you and I believe there's much more to his statement than just "Oh I'm Bill Gates and I don't like Bitcoin"...

yea, it would be unlikely that the man who had the most clout in the world until besos would just wake up like mister cloudflare and decide to tweet in a bad mood lol
highly unlikely , these people are 100% calculated to the outside, that's why they're the top ... i always had a soft spot for Gates seeing as he's on the top ten failures who made it list and especially since the b&m Gates foundation does so much good (or attempts) instead of just sitting on the money (and i think so does warren buffett) but this outright negative stance on something so many people have risked so much money on and is sparking so much new attempted business (as well as the usual so much attempted scam whenever something new arrives because that's just how humans roll)
that's something i don't get ... i mean even the morganites have crawled back on their initial "its the devils work" stance and are trying to "get into the market" before they're left behind, so why those two
i mean of all people, why them, i guess there's nothing to do but wait, i'd upvote your comment but considering my low sp i doubt it will push it above dust level so it won't payout anyway, thanks for the reply though
