This week the popular Bread wallet provider (BRD - officially Bread Wallet) announced the release of a new update for integrated bitcoin tape support (BCH). Now Bread users can claim, send, receive, and save BCH themselves.
The Bread Company announced on March 7 that they have added BCH full support for its iOS mobile wallet platform.
Last August when the BCH chain was born, two weeks later the Bread team released a one-time extraction tool for users who wanted to extract their coins. The company says that many Bread users use this tool.
"With this new update, all IOS users will be able to see the rest of BCH in their wallets, and can send and receive BCH at will," explains James MacWhyte CPO Breads.
"The new version of this app is a modular framework, built from the ground up, which lets us add some digital assets to the Bread platform. The next addition is the Ethereum and ERC20 tokens, which fit the schedule according to the roadmap we created in early 2018. "
Bread said in August, the team wanted to make sure the BCH chain would survive.
"However, there is still the option to store and use bitcoin cash in their bread, and all users voiced strong support for full access to BCHs that may still be stored in their wallets."
