Seems like the bitcoin run is done for now, but what of altcoins?

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

Hey there, I was just wondering about something and would like some opinions.

The last time there was a large bitcoin and general marketcap tumble, there were not as many altcoins. Certainly none of them were anywhere close to the bitcoin marketcap. Now, ethereum has gotten close and other coins are maturing, some entering the billion dollar club. Do you think this could help cushion the overall market cap dump or is it all doom and gloom as far as the near future is concerned?

I guess what I am asking is: Is there a chance that enough bitcoin gains will flow into altcoins to keep them steady instead of everything running into fiat?
