Looks like TenX finally rolled out the update that can handle Ethereum in their app.
According to their podcast they increase the amount of users that can activate ETH from day to day:

So looks like I'm lucky since in my app it was activated a few minutes after the update roll out.
You can now swipe the currency you want to use in your card and activate it with a tap on a button.
So its pretty easy to switch from BTC to ETH.
So I can't wait to test spending ETH in my local starbucks ;)

Hard to tell. I am a computer scientist, that means I just can do prediction from a tech point of view.
And that does not look pretty good.
Bitcoin is compared to other currencies like eth, eos, tezos, cardano very very weak.
But the biggest problem is, that bitcoin does not have solved the scalability problem.
Check the unconfirmed trx on the btc blockchain. Thats very very veeeery concerning

BUT
Bitcoin is hyped like hell. If someone talks about crypto its mostly about bitcoin. And everyone knows about bitcoin but nearly nobody knows about any altcoins.
TLDR;
Some altcoins are from a tech point of view a lot better then btc, but btc is hyped.
All in all I would say that bitcoin keeps growing until the critical mass is reached where the networks cant handle more trx. Then it crashes.
