Bitcoin transaction fee around 2$ now

Hello fellows last year bitcoin shows enormous growth and hit all time high $20k that was good so many users are come in cryptoworld and bitcoin market cap jumped to $300 billion. According to statista.com in 2017 blockchain wallet users hit 21 million and shows 200% growth just in 1 year.

But around that time bitcoin can't handle it's demand and so many unconfirmed transactions are stucking in mem pools. Due to high amount demand bitcoin transaction following it's price and hit 50$ high. For that reason it's hard to use bitcoin for transaction same time it gives chance to other cryptocurrencies blooming, I think most of gainers are ETH, BCH, and LTC. People are started using other cryptocurrencies for transact money and using bitcoin for their asset.

Finally due to lightining network and segwit2x bitcoin transaction fee lowering much more and in January transaction fee was around 30k-40k satoshi. And lightning network have 900 nodes now. But still it was little bit high for me because when i start using bitcoin fee was like 50 cent.

After that bitcoin core 0.16.0 released with supporting segwit and now bitcoin transaction speed and fees are lowered to 10k satoshi. Not just that further more developers are promised more revolutionary upgrade for bitcoin and said bitcoin fee will lower to near zero.

And there is lot of good news are coming this year so definitely this year will become one of the biggest year for cryptocurrency and bitcoin. But one thing i'm sad about it bitcoin started gaining it's power again due to that other cryptocurrencies are currently suffering a lot including Steem and SBD. Steem and SBD is one of the gainers when bitcoin suffering high transaction fee so now bitcoin back to it's good condition so people's are more like to use bitcoin for transaction.
