1.Visa Denies Rumours on Extra Crypto Charges
A while ago internet was full of news, stating that Visa has reclassified cryptocurrency related operations and higher fees will be applied. And while some card operators may actually have done the exact, Visa officially states that this has hot been implemented as of yet. However, the attractiveness of charging crypto buyers is tempting and may happen in future.

2.Spain Announces Tax Heaven For Blockchain Companies
Spain officials are in the process of drafting legislation, governing cryptocurrency investors, ICO regulations and tax breaks for blockchain and distributed ledger companies. As Spain’s Prime Minister has stated, they hope to get the legislation this year. If implemented, Spain will join Switzerland to lead the blockchain and crypto friendly countries in EU and in the world.
3.Coinbase Admits Overcharging Clients
Numerous complaints on Coinbase’s unrealistic charges resulted in trader’s official statement. It says that indeed a major bug has been found, which charged Coinbase’s customers extra charges up to 17 times. They promise, of course, to refund all extra charges, but I bet this will not happen until all checks are done, and that may take a pretty long time.

4.South Africa’s Central Banks Launches Blockchain
The South African Reserve Bank has announced their cooperation with a FinTech company from Brooklyn. The platform is Etherium-based and together they will be testing interbank’s settlements replicas. The aim is to get a deeper practical understating of the technology. Also, own tokens will be issued. They will not have any official status within the country, but rather used for testing purposes.

5.Hackers Exploit Telegram to Mine Crypto
And another hack revealed. Hackers were able to exploit Telegram to send out malware to infect user’s computers to mine Monero and Zcash. Pavel Durov, Telegram CEO, pointed our that attacks were not a problem of Telegram. The hack was only possible if user downloaded external third-party application and installed it manually.
