More and more these days I am being asked questions which relate to the world of crypto. Even by people I have never before met.
- How do I buy Bitcoin?
- How do I turn Bitcoin into cash?
- How do I earn on Steemit?
- How do I turn Steem into Bitcoin?
- Which are the best investments?
- What is mining?
As word of this crypto revolution spreads its way around the world there is a growing need for a new kind of teacher.
And this kind of teacher is YOU!
You are the pioneers of this brave new world in which our money system is changing. Our children of today will be the revolutionaries of tomorrow.
Role reversal
In many cases it is the children who are now teaching the adults. Growing up with the internet makes for a powerful foundation from which to blossom. A foundation anyone over the age of 40 simply doesn't have.
Young people who have dedicated their lives to understanding computers and the mechanics of the internet (in many cases against the wishes of their parents!) are now in the best position of all for this 'gold rush' period of the Crypto Industry.
Personally, I felt drawn towards understanding computers when I was a child. I spent hours playing on my BBC Micro which used a code called Basic. And true to its name it wasn't difficult to learn. I wrote numerous games (which were saved on endless floppy disks) and my knowledge expanded quickly but this was before the birth of the internet and when I was thrown into the boarding school system I quickly forgot about my instinctive desire to understand these amazing boxes which are such a big part of our lives now.
Expand your knowledge
With this in mind we will benefit greatly from reading the work of others here on Steemit, always seeking to better understand this huge arena. The more we learn now the better teachers we will become in the future.
What is the value of this knowledge?
Relatively speaking there are very few people with the knowledge people are seeking right now. You won't find too many bankers or financial advisors with this knowledge. And these guys charge a fortune for their advice!
I will always offer a service for free if I can. Especially when it relates to helping people break free from the banking system matrix.
However, as my time grows ever more precious and in demand I have no choice but to charge. Even now as I write this, I have over ten unanswered messages on Facebook asking me to 'quickly' explain a few things relating to Bitcoin.
Ha! There will be nothing quick about it.
Personal Training
When I created the Steem Masters system six months ago it was with the intention of helping as many people as I could but the demand for group courses simply wasn't there. Everyone had different questions and always wanted the answer to their one question for free.
Out of this grew the realisation that the best way to train people was through personal sessions on Skype. @dannyshine was my first client who learned about Steemit this way and he has quickly found his feet here as a consequence.
In the end it is up to us what we charge, but to make this decision we must first understand the power of this knowledge we are gaining now.
The word is waking up. And the best way we can assist is through the sharing of this valuable knowledge.

The Bali Volcano Crisis
If you have a moment please check out the @charitysteemit account where you will find up-to-date films, photos and information on the erupting volcano & evacuee status.
Mount Agung erupted a 2nd time with force on the 25th November, sending an ash cloud 1,500m into the sky and we will be watching it closely over the next few weeks.
This is what it currently looks like.
Those of us in Bali are working hard to raise money to buy the evacuees solar power & water filters LEARN MORE HERE and we deeply appreciate any help we can get.
It certainly is happening more and more. I also spread the word as much as I can. I just got a random message from someone a few days ago wanting to meet up so I could show them how to get all set up. My sister messaged me tonight wanting info to get an online wallet set up, how to receive ETH and where to buy Bitcoin. Random people at work are coming up to me and asking me about it as well.
I never even thought to be charging for it. Maybe that will change now that I'm aware of it. I guess I just take it for granted that it's easy to learn because I teach myself everything and I forget that most people aren't able to do that (or they just don't want to).

Like yourself I had to learn most things the hard way. And this took up an incredible amount of time. It seems fair to me that if people want the fast route they should be able to offer something in exchange.
Doesn't have to be money ;)
And right now (while SBD is still crazy high) an hour spent writing Steemit posts has an increased value. So, take that hour away from me and the price (or equivalent exchange) should be considered.

the knowledge of crypto and blockchain technology is truly an asset now. when i joined steemit 6 months ago, i do not understand much as regards cryptocurrency but through this huge cobweb of knowledge bank called steemit, i am now posting about cryptos and bitcoin etc. can explain and educate others. i now trade on cryptos! and discovered a new coin few days back called Elyte which i made over 600% even as they are yet to enter exchanges. check it out

Excelent article. I think the same way. In a few months/years we will be educating the masses. In the short run it will be good for the world of cryptos, thus ours. In the mid term it will help my mother and her friends understand this new money that will go mainstreem. When the EURO established in the eurozone in the 2000's my grandmother needed help to understand it, although it was a very similiar concept to the national coin we used. Imagine the need that people will have for explanation and knowledge when cryptos go mainstreem

My mother also invested in March and is feeling very happy about this. Though she still doesn't have a clue how to work her wallet and I have to do everything for her!

mister hill, i see you're doing well ...
due to constant attack dc and rebooting windows pcs i spend about 100 times more time on steemit just resteeming 5 posts than i wanna, this is making it even less fun than it already was and certainly not worth the time. Good luck however, im out of votes for the day now
viewed, voted, commented, and re-steemed ...
anyone follows me i'll follow back within a few days
if you have complaints please check the blog or i can link you the why ... a resteem is a resteem, atm to 120 people, thats 117 chances to have it re-resteemed,
if you consider this spam, then by all means, the mute button is on the top right side, feel free to do so and you'll never have to read me again :)
otherwise, good luck ... be wary of whales and stalkers, content dictators and bedroom nurrd fascists ... extortion bots and hatebots ..

that's the least, this thing would do great with a block button so bedroombased content dictators can be stuck to their own community, where they belong, in a nice, boxed, fenced off cube where they can't see the rest of the world
... other than that, i like to say to people who have "a problem" ... if its only one it cant be that bad .. the computer shit is annoying, but so are whales on steemit and in general anyone who tells me how to and how its done cos they talk about their world
not mine, probably monotheists ... those people are prone to allowing only one view, ein vote, ein reich, ein content, well, #fuckwhales and mostly fuck belgium cos this is just passtime, hoping it ever turns into something worthwhile and if i gave a dick an ulcer at least the day wasnt wasted,
glas to see you're doing fine, i'll give you my last vote for the day

BTC may be growing in the consciousness of the average person but I really believe it is the biggest risk of them all right now. Cash had a nice little pump yesterday. Always good to see it going in the right direction ;)

I'm now getting junk emails about Bitcoin! (you know nothing good is going to happen after that)
So far very glad we sold most of ours and got into more of the other coins - some of them - holy crap!

Yes, thanks for pushing us further in that direction - we sold Bitcoin and moved into Bitcoin Cash and Dash mainly.
I owe you one and when I'm a whale I will send a few votes your way!

This is a great point of view. I understood the same some week ago and the next day a FB post in Chinese to my Taiwanese locals was written. I offered a paid help in understanding how to buy/sell/exchange/use cryptos. Zero interest. Chinese/Taiwanese mind seems to wake up to the novelties much slower, or they are simply scared of the new brave world as they themselves are not brave at all. But that will change and soon - they will have no choice but to embrace the new technology. Correction - everybody will. We are very blessed to be pioneers of sorts. :)
