Erik Voorhees on "Is Bitcoin the Future of Money?"

in bitcoin •  6 years ago  (edited)

@finprep I've got no idea why you flagged my earlier comment on your article. It was a place holder comment by my bot and the purpose when its ultra vague like that is to ask me to look at your article. I always read everything she picks.

I've removed the comment now.

I'm here to make money and have the right to use whatever criteria I want to vote and comment in order to maximize the reward for investing the time and effort to be here. Automating the curation while leaving supportive comments, means I have time to read through what my bot chooses at a later time such as after work, while still getting in on the voting while it's financially worthwhile.

The comments also tell those who follow me to come take a look. Nevertheless, if I disagree with what my bot said, then I do go back and edit and if someone responds to the initial comment, I always personally reply.

Flagging my comment was to my mind abusive. You've earned good money by paying for all these upvotes. However my bot detected your content and upvoted you for free before you paid any of these others.

Why take away money from people who supported you? Literally taking the curation and comment awards away from someone who is working hard to make it so you don't have to keep spending so much money for all these upvotes. If you don't believe me check here...

Nevertheless, I have a rule against bothering people who don't want to be bothered. If you'd like me to add you to my blacklist simply ask.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

No idea? Because I didn't write anything significant and you're telling me.

"You're an excellent author!"

I understand what you're doing and I'm not agreeing with it, keep doing it if you want but don't brag about your comment automation bot. It's spam before you replace your comment manually.

You are actually a good author or at least you were. In this post, the meaning was clear. There were no typos, no grammar mistakes that could be caught and I've read you before, it's normally good quality stuff.

But hey if you're just planning to do shitposting nowdays no problem, I'll just add you to my blacklist, unfollow and mute. Apologies for the inconvenience.

You're just admitting what you wrote was an automated message.

Good riddance! I Don't want to read your bot's comment or have them on my thread.

Given what I know now, I wouldn't feel bad setting an auto-flag on your account's comments. Remember that next time you're bitching about a single flag on your spam comments.

We agree with your stance on Saragarmee's shenanigans.

We also feel your posting is a tad overrewarded, but that is unrelated.

So, somebody says they don't appreciate your bot's spam comment, and you then proceed by adding said user to a blacklist which may cause your bot to start flagging as a "side effect of [the] request" to stop spamming?

Fascinating. Have a non-abusive flag.

Flagged for lying repeatedly.
