The blockchain technology of QuarkChain has developed in two layers. The first layer includes the comprised sharding process of the transactions. This is currently having an income of 2 billions of shards with a prospect of increase. The second layer is called through the root chain, by the confirmation of the transactions. Currently, QuarkChain is dealing with the security design for every shard as the shards ware weak enough in hash power. The total amount of hash power is diluted for many parallel chains which can be used to increase the horizontal scalability. The root chain has the stronger hash power of 50% of the hash power with standardized allocation. This keeps the security against the malicious attacks.
