Una perfumería de 74 años ubicada en la ciudad de Madrid (España) anunció que a partir de ahora acepta bitcoins como método de pago en la venta de perfumes, cosméticos y accesorios de moda.

La Perfumería Madrid París, que lleva en el mercado desde 1943, dio a conocer su nuevo método de pago a través de la red social Reddit este domingo.

Dicha perfumería, que también ofrece otros productos, ya colocó en su página el conocido letrero de “se acepta bitcoin” junto a los demás métodos de pago, que incluyen tarjetas de débito y crédito. El motivo del local madrileño para adoptar la primera criptomoneda parece estar relacionado con la innovación en sí y con el objetivo de ofrecer a sus clientes los mejores servicios y opciones: “Queremos ofrecer el mejor servicio a nuestros clientes y el pago a través de Bitcoin es sin duda uno de ellos” declaran en el comunicado de la red social.

Esto marca un paso más en la adopción de bitcoin en España, pues es una empresa que forma parte de los mercados tradicionales, como es la venta de perfumes tan clásicos como Hermès, Van Cleef & Arpels, Robert Piguet, Patou, Jean Louis Scherrer, Armani, entre muchos otros; los que pueden ser enviados a domicilio

Esta adopción puede acercar a nuevos usuarios que desconocen bitcoin y demás criptomonedas, materializando su uso en el día a día de los habitantes del lugar. Aquí cabe destacar que Madrid París tiene una alta clientela de turistas, pues atienden a sus clientes en español, inglés y francés, lo que indica que también con este nuevo método de pago podrían facilitarle la compra a muchos de ellos, en el sentido de que no tendrían que hacer ningún cambio de divisas.
