Bitcoin Mania

So i bought $50 worth of bitcoin on a website and after the transaction fees it became obvious i got only about $34 worth of bitcoin and like everyone try to get in on the bitcoin rush i was looking to make a little extra cash because as crazy as it sounds 1 bitcoin was about ₦3.5m in my local currency at the beginning of December but by mid December the boom had occurred and bitcoin was at an all time high of over ₦7m so i was willing to get in on the bubble and get some change but luck was against me and bitcoin started nose diving it was selling at over $18,000 when i purchased my bitcoins and now it's hovering over $14,000 it did go below $13,000 at some point but it's been improving ever since and so i still nurse some hope of getting my money back for the value i purchased it for but sadly financially things are kind of shaky because i had splurged on a Macbook recently 🙈 which i have always wanted and is actually making me quite happy but enough about me and back to bitcoin so i did a little research and found out the guy who creatd bitcoin is a nobody and i mean that literally because no one actually knows the person or group which is kind of crazy and he could be just about anyone on the planet but the genius of it is he designed it to get to 21 million coins but at the moment about 16 million alone is in circulation which means at some point it would get maxed out and bitcoin might actually become more valuable due to its scarcity or it might just nosedive and not get any value at all but fingers crossed it will increase in value and that's probably why i would like to invest because the idea that at some point in time it might be actually very valuable due to its scarcity seems very attractive and lucrative to me but alas i am a big dreamer. This is actually my first post on steemit and i dont really know how it works but i hope to do this more often.
