Innovative Adventures - Which service do you use to turn BTC into EUR?

What's your last crypto-stop before you turn your fine Bitcoins into your currency?

I have been using Coinbase for awhile, and the transfers seem pretty quickly to turn Bitcoins into Euros. However, I noticed that there always was a lot of negative talking about Coinbase, so I am looking for an alternative!

Coinbase is super simple. I transfer Bitcoins to my Coinbase wallet and I sell it for Euros, which I can then get transferred to my IBAN bank account. The money is usually there within 2 to 3 days and it's overall a quite smooth process.

There are a lot solutions out there and I am curious to know which one you are using!

I am super open to switch from Coinbase to an alternative. Though, there must be an option where I can easily transfer the amount to my IBAN bank account. Preferably SEPA would be great as well as low fees (obviously :D). I believe Coinbase handles 1.49% + €0.15. So anything lower would be <3.

I am not a big Bitcoin spender, so my withdrawals will most likely remain below € 1.000,-. Not sure if I sound poor right there or not, lol.

I'm still in the building up phase of my portfolio, but I am waiting to use the TenX card and wallet https://www.tenx.tech/ so that I can put any currencies I want to spend in a wallet, then use the card just like a debit or atm card.

I'm hoping to move accounts that are holding money such as my holiday fund, auto fund etc from my bank and into crypto so I can make money in between needing to spend it.

Oh that sounds pretty neat actually. Thanks! I've been looking into those cards which hold BTC, but hadn't succeeded in finding the right one :)

No problem. It is just coming out so they are a bit backlogged in getting the cards out... and the wallet is very new and still buggy. Before the end of the year they will likely have it all ironed out and running smoothly.

Ah makes sense. I'll keep an eye out for them though! Thanks!

BitStamp or Kraken. Maybe also BitBay.

I just signed up for Kraken - having some verification issues, but looking forward to figure it out :) I shall also take a look at BitStamp!

The more I am in cryptoscape, the less Im willing to convert back to fiat (euro).
Its simple. Bitcoin or any other crypto is more valuable for me than stupid euro.

I wish I will never have to convert back to euro and pay with cryptos directly.

If you are not in really bad finantial situation I would advice you not to withdraw anything.

Right now, I am still holding everything so far. I know some services which support BTC payments, but not all! Would be great to have a BTC debit card though. Do you use any of those?

I don't like Coinbase. I prefer Kraken to turn my cryptos into fiat. Also I used BitStamp a little bit but I still prefer Kraken.

Why do you prefer Kraken over BitStamp? :)

Try bitcoin.de - I think, currently they are at 1% transaction fees. Than there is the peer to peer exchange bisq - apart from the trading counterparty that's completely anonymous.
