[0077] - CryptoWatch: Interview with Judah Hirsch, the CEO of Salpay

One of the crypto ICO's that I am looking into right now is #Salpay. I have come across it several times when shopping around for investments, so I thought I'd look at it more closely to see what makes it tick.

The interview is between #Boxmining ( link below ) and Judah Hirsch, the CEO of Salpay. Salpay aims to use cryptocurrencies to solve cross border payroll payments. His company, Salarium is based in the Philippines and reportedly has over 60 employees, and is expanding into South East Asia. Interestingly, Australia is on their roadmap for 2018.

Which makes me, an Australian, even more interested to see how this pans out.

Basically, #SalPay is a payroll solution for companies and offers a VISA card so you can transfer funds between crypto and FIAT seamlessly. Among other services like #MicroLoans, etc that they plan to roll out over time.

The interview is worth watching from start to finish, even though it is long ( 55mins ) by goldfish and internet standards. But in my mind, how do you learn something in 2 mins?

It's a solid watch all the way through with a good overview, no boring bits and because it was a livestream, the audience asked some pretty tough questions and he gave good answers. I was particularly impressed at their adoption / onboarding model and how they get users onto the system.

Very clever in an 'above board', business kind of way. Smart.

What was particularly interesting is that ( apparently, but would have to pause and check ) the CEO of #Binance was spotted in the chat, and as #Binance are a juggernaut of a crypto exchange, it 'warms my heart' to see that they are looking into #SalPay like I am.

#SalPay is on my shortlist ( especially when the token / crowd sale ends in about 10 hours ) to follow up & invest in.
