[0140] - Ameer Rosic: How Many Coins Will Go to Zero?

in bitcoin •  7 years ago  (edited)

I love this guys take on cryptocurrencies. Straight talking. Clear thinking. Make what you will.

In this video Ameer Rosic takes a good, hard look at why so many start ups are launching ICO's ( the money ) and the reason why 99% ( or, a large quantity ) of new coins will go bust.

The video is talking to developers, but it makes sense from an investment point-of-view. While crypto investors are happy to throw money at new coins in the current crypto gold boom, many investors fail to ask the question of viability of all of these projects.

How many of your coins will go to zero?

Thanks for watching,

Your post are usually refreshing like a cold shower. Remember the ice bucket challenge? I feel like quite a few developers need to do those before they come up with their own overkillcoin.

I tend to avoid projects who only vision is to be a "bitcoin killer". Meh, can do better.

I like solid foundations. Which is why I ask the tough questions. If you can shake an idea, then it will fall apart when the real pressure comes. The reason i ask hard questions here is because a lot of people are banking on making a fortune. I wan t to make sure they are holding a bag of cash, not digital blips, at the end of all this.
