How To Protect And Profit From Upcoming Bitcoin BIP 148 Fork

in bitcoin •  8 years ago

I highly recommend everyone read the article on uasfguide.com more than once. The biggest takeaway from this video and the excerpts from the companion article on uasfguide.com is, come August. 1, 2017 there may be a split/fork of the Bitcoin chain. To protect yourself make sure you have access to your Bitcoin private keys and not trust any service i.e. exchange or wallet to exclusively hold your private keys.

"To be clear, you will need to be running two full-nodes: (1) legacy Bitcoin Core and (2) BIP 148 enforcing Bitcoin Core fork.
To help you protect your money, this guide will be frequently updated with the latest developments" (uasfguide.com).

Thanks for the advice !
Still kinda confused though what I should do with my ledger.

👍👍Your ledger is good just keep stacking coins inside of it. When August 1st hits I would move any coins until the dust settles.👊

@sneakgeekz I guess you mean would NOT move.....right ?
