Never let anyone take control of your computer!!!!!!!!steemCreated with Sketch.

In my effort to contact Bittrex support, I found several phone numbers on line.

When I called, a person with a heavy accent answers. The first thing they want to do is have me type in a address which I refused to do.

The reason they want to do this is to gain control of your computer remotely as if they were some reputable tech support experts that are there to fix a problem. Instead, they will add malware to record passwords or access your accounts remotely through your computer. You will effectively give them the access to steel all your money.

Never go to a website that someone on the phone is requesting or allow remote access!

Never Never Never

Tsk!!! I really hate scammers!
Got any suggestions on what exchange should we use?
Poloniex? Or Changelly?

I've been using Binance with success. Very slow though as they are on the other side of the world which creates a delay. I have had money vanish from Bittrex not because the account was compromised, but Bittrex lost the records. I also don't think they have a customer support team. I don't have any evidence that they have any staffing to deal with support issues. I haven't tried Poloniex or Changelly.

Thank you for the information @socky

This is just good advice in general. Some tech support people are good people, but always make sure you know what you're getting into.
