Steemit - My First Blogpost

So yeah this is my first post. Not sure what to make of this place, its like entering into a large imposing mansion and everything is just too overwhelming to notice anything.

Came here because V the Guerrilla Economist of Rogue Money Radio was talking about it. They are putting up stuff on Dtube.

So I came over to find out what it was. I signed up some time ago but briefly forgot where I put that really long password, so I left the account silent for a while.

I think this place still could use some curtains and potted plants. Too sparse and too much white background. - SOF

Been speculating on Bitcoin for a while now. I am a rather small player, I am just about 0.1 of a Bitcoin and now its shot up like crazy. Wished I had a few full BTCs at the beginning, but that train has passed. And even then learning how to use Bitcoin and deposit and transfer, while easy once you know it, requires some familiarizing when its the first time, for example knowing the deposit address, verifying the transaction through the given email, using the code given by the Bitcoin exchange to ensure funds are deposited into the correct wallet, etc.

Bitcoin has a lot of monolithic opinions from the various camps. It seems though Bitcoin does have a future the way its going up, but then again I could be looking at another bubble.

I can't find much of a balanced opinion. Everyone's hard in their camps, and even among Bitcoin supporters there are claims of censoring other camps' opinions, like those who want bigger block sizes. Bitcoin Cash is not supported by the exchange I use, so I am still uncertain where Roger Ver's pet project will go.

Bitcoin certainly has had its advantages, allowing me to speculate with little capital startup. Going into the real world stock markets require a few thousand dollars as deposit before one can use their exchange, and I am completely ignorant of the trading stuff.

Anyway at least for someone who earns little in the real world at least I hope to earn something if Bitcoin hits the astronomical highs as Clif High has speculated.
