Seems like not so long ago Bitcoin was at $900 each, just shortly after that CNN article came out and the price temporarily dropped before rebounding even stronger.

It's the same deal with guns in America... the news purposely doesn't show a single mom or old lady defending themselves with a pistol or a shotgun from multiple rapists or attackers... they only show the guy that decided to go snipe people off a building or shoot up a school for no reason other than he was mentally unstable and/or evil.
