STEEM DOLLARS (SBD) ARE CURRENTLY TRADING ON TWO EXCHANGES AT OVER $13 DOLLARS U.S. HITBTC AND BLOCKTRADES.ORG AT A PRICE OF 0.00208000 BTC on HitBTC.com AND $11.41 U.S. ON BLOCKTRADES.ORG at .00209 (BTC). That's over $13.00 U.S. DOLLARS.

When checking the currency prices online this morning for STEEM DOLLARS (SBD)and BITCOIN (BTC). We found 2 Exchanges where STEEM DOLLARS are currently trading above $13 Dollars U.S.

Both HitBTC in China and BlockTrades.Org are Buying and Selling Steem Dollars at over $13 U.S. Dollars. This phenomenon is unusual and seems to be due to the Chinese population embracing STEEMIT as a Social Media and Political Free Speech Platform. Many Cryptocurrency Experts have given their opinion that this will be a short lived Price Spike much like Bitcoin's 'Kimchi Premium' that transpired in South Korea last year wherein Bitcoin and several other cryptocurrencies where selling for up to a 50% premium over U.S. Prices.

Bitcoin mania is cooling off and with it changes are happening in its global market.

Indeed, the price furor that began in early November when talk that bitcoin futures listings would go live in the U.S. triggered a wave of speculation – Bitcoin, which traded at $6,500 on Nov. 1, rose as high as $20,000 by mid-December – has all but faded. But while bitcoin has largely been stuck trading sideways, global volumes remain elevated, showing interest has remained strong. Now the same phenomena seems to be occurring with Steem Dollars (SBD).

For traders seeking an edge, Now would be the time to Buy Steem Dollars from Bittrex or Poloniex and Sell them online through HitBTC or BlockTrades.Org.

There are sometimes risks linked to cryptocurrency trading arbitrage, in theory much higher than those for regulated markets...

What's the risk? Arbitrage is the act of Buying in one Market for a low price and simultaneously Selling in another Market at a higher price. Where is the risk?

The risk is the insolvency of one of the crypto trading sides involved ,or the loss of the crypto while in transit

I have to recognize that in this specific case, the risk doesn't seem to be that high
