The social networking site Facebook has been hit hard by the "Bitcoin" currency, where it has announced the ban on all digital currency advertisements, the Washington Post reported.
Facebook said on Tuesday that advertising products "often associated with misleading and deceptive promotional practices" would not be displayed, adding "specifically digital currencies that use malicious methods to attract new investors."
"We want people to continue to discover and recognize new products and services through Facebook ads without fear of fraud or deception," said Rob Leitern, Facebook product manager.
The announcement comes weeks after the founder of the site, Mark Zuckerberg, strongly recognized the digital currency.
"These currencies came in ways that make it difficult for central systems to control them," he said on his official Facebook account. "I am interested in studying the positive and negative aspects of these currencies and how to use them and rely on them in our services."

hi, Good friend as it goes,it should be noted that Facebook has banned all advertising on cryptocurrencies as well as binary options and initial offers of coins (ICO, for its acronym in English). because mainly that companies "are often associated with biased or misleading promotional practices" and that there are currently many companies promoting cryptocurrencies that "do not act in good faith", explains the director of product management, explained Rob Leathern, as well as he mentions that the new rules are not permanent, he said, and will be revised as the social network improves its detection of deceptive ads.
In my personal opinion I think that no matter how hard they try to repress it, it is very difficult, because of many regulations, cryptocurrencies like it or not have already taken place, in 2017 it was already a good year, it is also impossible to stop progress technological, I share your idea, also perhaps try to make a defamation like what happened with JPMorgan simply to do the low buy and then sell high Regards
