I haven't run my own mining rig, but I bought into a small amount of mining on eobot. The returns are not great, but I'm happy to let it run 5 years and see what I get. I did mine a little Steem there early on, but now the minimum withdrawal is 10 Steem and that will take a while with what I have. I did use some Steem to buy more mining. It's just something I play with. I also got into Manna, so I get passive income from that for no investments. I'm gaining a few referrals. These things are not worth much now, but who knows what they could be in a few years.

Yeah it's good to play with it rather than do a massive serious investment into it, my gut feel is, with price increase it'll be a worthwile investment
