Scanning through Twitter this morning for crypto news, I was shocked to find out that Blockstream CTO, Greg Maxwell has resigned from Blockstream, the company he co-founded.

Well, he knows that Blockstream have destroyed bitcoin and so he decided to quit.
Blockstream totally changed the idealogy of Bitcoin for selfish reasons.

Thanks to Bitcoin Cash (which is the real bitcoin in anyway)

The most obviously bizarre thing in all of this is that Greg is resigning from Blockstream because he wants to focus more on Bitcoin.

He wants to focus more on the real Bitcoin - Bitcoin Cash and not Bitcoin Core.

Sadly, I hope all the Bitcoin Core fans see this signs on the wall and take the right decision.

Advice: Don't let greed cloud your judgement.

Remember what made you to love bitcoin and why that thing has suddenly changed because of Blockstream

Happy Steeming

Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Segwit, call it whatever you want, but the fact remains that it is the REAL Bitcoin. The decntralized community of users decided this with UASF and NO2X last year. BCash is a Chinese knock-off scam of the real Bitcoin which attempts to subvert the real Bitcoin and steal its name. Blockstream didn't destroy Bitcoin (which is a fallacy itself), because it was never theirs to destroy, and they have never had the power over Bitcoin that the haters claim.

Increasing block sizes is not a sustainable solution. It only makes the system more centralized in the long run. 8mb is okay but as the block size gets bigger and bigger, it becomes harder to sustain full nodes and as a result number of people who have full nodes decrease. So no, making block sizes bigger is the easy way to go but not the ultimate solution. If you are in for a centralized solution keep supporting Bitcoin Cash.

There is alot behind the scenes, Bitcoin has some hurdles ahead, I think by now most people know its not as decentralized as we think and as the players get bigger in the game and with money flowing in, some folks would move away...I think he can use his talents to help birth some talents into the Bitcoin ecosystem, there is so much politics, I am sure a certain camp is rejoicing

Nice post...

You're right ... Thanks for the post :-) @stellabelle

omg,,,,nice,,,posing

holy shit this is HUGE news... how did I miss this I was JUST on twitter?!?

because no one covered this news. It was quietly released months after his resignation.

And if investors in blockstream are also invested in the sources of news that we should have heard of this from... dun dun dunnn

You're so nice for commenting on this post. For that, I gave you a vote!

Lead by example. Hopefully his acting upon his conscience gives others in the space the willpower and gumption to change their situation.

@stellabelle Thank you for reporting. It's nice to see that steemit is used for information sharing outside combat. This is the first time I've heard this. I had no clue. I can do some research.

WHAT AN AMAZING POST...@STELLABELLE

Back to your interesting question...There you have it. I wonder who will replace Greg Maxwell? Any guesses?
#kudos to #GregoryMaxwell bitcoin core developer and co-founder and chief technology officer of blockstream. Greg was one of the key architects of the two way peg which makes sidechains possible.

his impact #@gregorymaxwell has touches many life positively, his handwork and history can not be forgotten, to this generation he cant be replaced i dont know about the coming century. Greg is a great man...

Block stream verified account...@blockstream we believe in the potential of bitcoin and blockchain technology to have significant, positive social impact... More thanks @stellabelle for this motivating post...

@stellabelle
Thanks for this post. For some days now we have how bad the trade line has been in the cryptoworld/market. The resignation of the CTO has impact negatively and we can see it clearly.

The revealing of this by Blockstream shows that it is political. As such this is not good for everyone in the cryptoworld as it is believed to be decentralised.

Well, we hope to see a bounce back soon and all things back to normal.

Thank you for this information it is educating.

Thank you so much! From the bottom of my heart : )

the gas is leaking slowly

oh no.. what will happen now? and who will replace him?

how did I not see this on twitter!? T_T

Refreshing view on the flag wars. So many say here's why it's good or here's why it's bad and to see someone say it's just what's part of a free system is a better way to look at it to me.

@jerrybanfield should replace Greg Maxwell.

This is surprising, but in a way it’s not. I think he definitely did the right thing.

Hahahahah

Interesting..

I was extreme shocked myself, but if he decides to focus on bitcoin development, I feel it's his choice but I just hope blockstream is in better hands else we wouldn't know what would happen next.

Info yang bagus, terimakasih telah berbagi

Wow! I am speechless!

Well I personally expect such crack but I strongly believe the future of Steemit is bright

To me, i believe Greg Maxwell has reasons for his resignation from blockstream. Like he earlier said, he wants to major in one part of cryptocurrency, which is bitcoin. Well i wish him goodluck in his decision. As for his replacement in blockstream, hmmm... only time will tell. Or what do you think? @stellabelle

Nobody will . I know I’ll be paying close attention to the legend now . Awesome post . Thanks @stellabelle🤙

Thanks you for posting this news, news will probably make everyone wonder why he can resigned and what causes it??

Nice man

Nice post.

It can be information for us, because we know the bitcoin in hardfork.
We predict how the price of Bitcoin.

I've been following lots of the Bitcoin core development. This will really open a can of worms. It's a huge can of worms. Hopefully people will soon realize what is going on. That the conspiracy theories are true.

I see the BCash shills have made the "Blockstream runs Bitcoin" meme stick on Steemit.

They contribute less than 2% to the Bitcoin project. Its all there, on github stats.

But who needs to let pesky facts get in the way of a juicy "viral" story about Greg Maxwell?

I've talked to Greg, and he'll keep contributing just as he always has. If you believe the Blockstream FUD stories, you're not seeing the whole picture.

Back to the drama thread already in progress....

Your post is always Informative, keep it up.
