Hi. I'm the original developer of bitjoy.io. Towards the end of 2016, bitcoin transaction fees became too high to continue to run. To send someone 1c for 50c worth of a transaction fee wasn't reasonable. We created short-term measures and implemented withdraw limits, etc, but honestly, that forced us to use centralized databases and really wasn't something we were excited to continue. The whole point of BTC was to not HAVE to rely on central databases.
Bitjoy has pivoted to a different chain in 2018, the EOS Blockchain and we are focusing a completely different aspect of real-time gaming. Specifically, we are focused on creating new forms of gameplay between live game streamers and viewers. EOS does not require transaction fees so there's a world of possibilities in front of us.
