If you're ever going to mine on your phone, target the smaller alt-coins and hope that they explode in value one day. Also, if you're probably still going to want to mine with a laptop as well, but regardless your returns will be pitiful.

That's true. Since it takes powerful computers to mine it now, 3 months of android mining may only get you 118000 satoshi. Plus they only let you withdraw when you reach 500000s. Another question is how it works, where is the source? Do the apps really work on the blockchain?
