It was 1859 when America blew gold fever.
everyone was looking for gold, the most precious stone on the planet.
The factors that led thousands of people to abandon the monotone daily work of the Industrial Revolution and travel to the gold mines include:
related improvements in the transport network;
improvements in the media that helped the spread of news;
forms of social discontent
an international monetary system based on gold.
Incidentally, few prospectors made fortunes, but several vendors and merchants were enriched, and many unlucky ones suffered harsh moments and deprivations, in exotic places at the frontier of civilization, for a small reward.
158 years ago what begins today with BITCOIN, we are retracing what the fathers of our grandparents have lived in person. Their desire for freedom was so great and led them to change life and nation to chase the dream.
I wonder if we are lucky today to chase this dream, sitting in a chair, with the computer in the legs ... what will bring all this ...
Or was it better to breathe the moment like our ancestors ...?
