USD DEMISE - Could blockchains replace the US dollar?

What if blockchains replace the US dollar?

When everyone can just pay with bitcoins, it could crash the dollar eventually...

Why hold dollars issued by the Fed?
I buy my groceries with bitcoin, I buy my house with bitcoin. I buy my car, pay my babysitter with bitcoin. Some stores don't want dollars any more, they only want bitcoin (maybe in the future, something like cash only stores).

I'm starting to think this could happen. There is no interest paid on savings, thus NO INCENTIVE to save dollars.
That is broken.

That's the reason I started to invest in CCurrencies is because USD is broken.

Looking around this evening, I'm seeing incredible adoption and a renewed stake around the world in bitcoin, ethereum, and so its seems these could eventually start to compete directly with USD, as people catch on to using their bitcoins with electronic wallets, and debit cards.

End the Fed!

Fiat = Dead Man Walking

definitely see the world quickly moving towards the blockchain man! it's great

One day it will take over fiat money, whether it be bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency, it's just the governments and the skeptics out there that are holding it all back!

Yes these payment systems don't pay interest, another system is required to perform the function of the reserve asset.
