I created an e-commerce site because I was literally sick and tired of having to consume the products that big business offer us. Its usually not 100% organic, non-GMO, sustainable, free-range and grass fed(and a million other buzzwords). I created National Hydroponic Supply because I wanted to see what it would be like have the ability to grow my own food year round, in a space that is small, to experience the challenges of it and try to come up with healthy solutions to what is going to become a very large issue. Less than 1% of Americans farm or know anything about the process. That to me is tragic. So many people take our food supply for granted and with out question. Also tragic. We are putting compounds in our bodies that were never meant to be there, as a result it is making us overweight, brain dead, and diseased. I am hoping to create a “vehicle” to empower the people to grow their own food, to de-centralize food sourcing and to potentially collaborate with each other to be happier and healthier.
