You can correct me if you think I'm wrong, but my theoretical thought on this whole ransomware issue that spread like wildfire around the World over the past few days is this:
It was created by the NSA we, apparently, already know this to be true (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WannaCry_ransomware_attack#Background) and it was actually RELEASED and CAUSED TO SPREAD by the same entity as an "Inside-Job-Operation". (Think about just exactly HOW FAST this thing went around the World, hitting important institutions such as Britain's hospitals, FedEx, Deutsche Bahn railways, and LATAM airlines.)
The end result of them doing this is to have a wedge of opportunity to attack the anonymity of Bitcoin.

There's no COMEX pits for bitcoins. The JP Morgans of the world can't whip up a few billion worth of bitcoin shorts and dump them on the futures market and beat bitcoin back to $0 dollars. It isn't that the demand isn't there for bitcoins, the difference is that they can't keep it throttled. Banksters want to control currency.

There are "kill switches" built into hardware and software that runs "Everything". I'm talking hospitals, rails, water plants, dams, power generating stations, grid computers....everything. Don't roll your eyes...you just saw it happen. But this run wasn't a true kill...it was more of a test. It's scary. IMO I truely think its a setup because the apparent hackers want to get paid in Bitcoins. A smoke screen to get new regulations on cryptocurrency.
