CarVertical wants to put your car on the blockchain

CarVertical is an interesting project that isn't that well known. CarVertical wants ensure that your car buying experience goes really well and that there isn't any damage that you are unaware of when buying a car.

They can accomplish this goal by getting data from cars via their OBD. (on-board diagnostic devices) The blockchain will allow them to ensure that there isn't any changed, faked, or manipulated data. CarVertical plans on licensing their technology to several major car companies, and they have already made deals with BMW and Volkswagen as well as a few other big partnerships.

Buying a car that is in good condition can be very difficult sometimes as car dealerships will often hide damage done to a car in order to try and make a sale. CarVertical will have an extensive registry including where the vehicle was manufactured, accurate odometer readings, any reported accidents, required maintenance, etc.

When you visit their website you can see how big of a problem they think this when you buy a car. CarVertical plans to launch worldwide overtime and their product goes live tomorrow in Lithuania, which is one of the 4 EU markets they plan on launching in this year. This may or may not be a good short-term investment, but this is probably a very good long-term investment. The team is not hiding and seems to be very transparent, so this is always a good sign when you are investing. Considering that TrueCar has been a huge success and this is kind of similar because it is trying to be a car registry, I would rate this as a good one to hold onto.

The recent bear market is probably starting to make everyone believe that the crypto market is completely dead, but I don't think so. Strong projects should survive the storm.
