A cryptocurrency called Bitcoiin2Gen hired a well-known actor Stephen Seagal to promote its ICO. According to the developers, the cryptocurrency can become a new, better Bitcoin.
There was a confirmation on the official Twitter account of the celebrity that he really supports the release of a new token and encourages everyone to participate in the ICO project.
The Bitcoin2Gen developers themselves call Sigal the Hollywood ambassador of their brand.
Cryptocurrency analysts treat a new token with great distrust for the time being. First, everyone is extremely confused with the name. The creators of the token didn’t think twice and just added one letter to the well-known word and it turned out as Bitcoiin. Such an approach can mislead inexperienced cryptocurrency traders.
In addition, the project operates under a similar scheme, like OneCoin and BitConnect, which were accused of creating financial pyramids.
The developers claim that the cryptocurrency is based on the Ethereum blockchain technology and has a mining component due to the partnership with Dragon Mining. The official website of the project also advertises “significant profits from the production of B2G” through the process of placement and storage of assets.
Steven Seagal is not the first celebrity to support the ICO. Last year the cryptocurrency community was actively discussing boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. He was the face of an advertising campaign of one of the tokens. However, the new cryptocurrency has not gained much popularity.
