Poloniex Down in The Middle of LTC Pump

Typical.

I was just about to trade some LTC and this happens.

I find it strange that Polo and other exchanges seem to become "unusable" or inaccessible during major price movements.

Coincidence? I can't help being suspicious.

You make good points here. Something has never sat right with me on this..... I am newer to crypto than a lot of you guys as you know and I get the odd outage....

but they are super numerous and in the tech world, tied to bandwidth and online crypto...... too many red flags.

It's the wild wild west in crypto. I learned many things the hard way.

You are 100% right on that!!!

I started this new series where I post #TrumpTweets about things on Donald's mind. You never know what he will say!!!!

Just too many users at the same time. A typical problem in a 'rush hour'. There is now 15000 user online on Polo.

It's been happening since 2014 - if it is a simple issue of not being able to cope with the traffic why has it never been fixed?

I agree!!! I noticed that about Coinbase whenever things start to heat up. I didn't have any problem on Bittrex buying or selling LTC yesterday morning when it was going crazy. Yup. In New York, we don't have much in terms of exchanges (I would love love love to be able to use Polo). Thanks bitlicense.
