Po.et wants to track ownership and attribution for the world's digital creative assets.

Po.et is currently an ERC-20 token, the purpose of the token is to create a community of engaged invested stakeholders and publishers, raise funds for the long-term development of the Po.et Foundation and provide a mechanism to incentivize and reward early adopters and positive contributions to the Po.et network.

Po.et uses "Proof of Existence" which is the first non financial application on the blockchain. Every piece of work added to the Po.et digital marketplace, is given a "fingerprint" that cannot be tampered, edited or altered after being assigned. Since blockchain technology is being used, the content does not need 3rd party/publisher to gain access.

Po.et offers a highly advanced digital marketplace that will be a platform for creators to be discovered. The POE token will be used on the platform to uniquely incentivize members to add and fairly rate relative content. To upload content to the marketplace, you must stake your coins first and if the members of the marketplace like it they will accept it onto the marketplace. However if they do not believe the content is a good fit for the marketplace they will reject it and take all of your staked coins. Now since every member can create a marketplace around any subject they wish, there are many different options to choose which truly creates a broad ecosystem of quality content.

Currently Po.et has no significant competitors as they really have a completely unique blockchain project. Po.et has a market cap of around 23 million USD and once reached over 475 million USD, so it has definitely seen an ugly fall due to the long bear market. There is no doubt the coin is undervalued but since Bitcoin and the rest of the market are still looking quite bearish, I don't see it as being a good buying point especially when BTC has not found a strong support.
