Twitter bots impersonate Elon Musk and Donald Trump to try and scam your tokens

A huge influx of fake Twitter accounts pretending to be notably influential celebrities has flooded the social media giant, fooling people into donating small amounts of cryptocurrency.

The scammers initially offer you a big payout for your small investment, but just end up running off with everyone's money. Posing as people such as Elon Musk, Donald Trump and John McAfee.

This is one of the posts made by an impersonator:

If you look up the wallet address the scammer posted in the tweet (0xB44ed0651F36995799A05fB05f0BaC77c989D296) you can see that they have amassed $4k worth of ether! This is just one person though. There have been around 1,200 other bots discovered by a man named Josh Emerson.

Many of these accounts have been taken down already but there is still a large number of them out there, so be careful.

Don't fall for this fraudulent bullshit!
