Hey! I downloaded the Ledger Live software a few hours ago, it is insanely awesome from what I've soon so far. Didn't look at how to hook it up to your own nodes but Ledger has definately done themselves a huge favour for those who like alts/trading. It feels like a really good bank/trading interface, really clean and saves the public keys for use so you can look at your wallets later without logging in. Trezor is still at the front for advanced BTC usage but I've been really impressed from my little play around. Looking forward to hearing what you think too :) keep them safe ;)
