Companies constantly give information about fake apps to smartphone users. Many times fake apps are found on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The App Store tries to never give permission to fake apps. But if you ever give these stores permission to a fake app? Actually, the same thing happened with an iPhone user where in the end this user lost all his life's earnings. All this happened after downloading a fake bitcoin app from the Apple App Store.
According to The Washington Post, this user lost a total of 44 lakh rupees due to the fake bitcoin app. The user name is Phillipe Christodoulou who wanted to check the balance of his bitcoin app and in this affair he downloaded the Trezor app from the App Store. This app looked like a treasure, whose background was green. The user downloaded the app without checking whether it was original or not. After downloading, the user entered his personal information. After this, as soon as he came to know that this app was fake, by then all the Bitcoin savings of Christodoulou had disappeared.
Creator created fake app
Explain that the Fake Treasure app was made in such a way that it looks original. However, later it was discovered that the creator had created this app to chat with users' bitcoin money. But here now the biggest question arises how Apple has given permission to this fake app. Christodoulou told the Washington Post that Apple reviews every app and only then rolls out its platform.
Apple answer
Apple said that, Fake Treasure App Maker told the company that, it has nothing to do with cryptocurrency. This is a cryptography app that encrypts iPhone files and stores passwords. However, when the app was submitted, it turned into a cryptocurrency app and Apple failed to detect it. Please tell that Apple has now removed the Treasure App from the store. Many users have reported this app so far. The app has been reported as a fake cryptocurrency app.
