This was exactly what I wanted to hear today. And I may be listen to this clip again next week. And next month. Just like we listen to our favorite music, again and again.

And I probably will make a recording to the flash drive. To save, for listening during NEXT crypto winter (2023 ?).
And give it to listen to my grand-childrens. Which are yet not born.

Decentralization is the natural order of things.

Centralization is artificial. It requires tremendous energy to maintain. Endless vigilance, resources, manipulation, coercion, and outright use of force must be brought to bear in order to keep it going, but it's the only viable option for those who wish to profit at the expense of others.

Real decentralization means that we're at each others' mercy, or at least accountable to each other in real ways. But it also means that we're empowered, as individuals and as communities. It works this way to the degree that it doesn't get hijacked. And those with enough money to do so will always hijack.

Decentralization means INTERdependence. Which, to those who wish to profit at the expense of others, means loss of control. A more nearly level playing field. It's what they fear most. Which is why I don't think that crypto will be allowed to survive unless they're able to make it their own. To make it work for them. Which, yes, is probably what's happening right now.

They've been playing this same game forever. Continual consolidation of real assets. Through boom and bust, among other strategies :/

I agree about Steemit. I'm going to continue to invest time and money into it, and continue to power up. As a creative, I see Steemit, and blockchain in general, as crucial. The value of the platform is not dependent solely on the value of the currency. We need a viable alternative and to me, so far, Steemit is it.

It's so true.

Wise words to live by. I keep telling myself I can't believe STEEM is at 25 cents (or any of the other crypto). I need to buy more, and I do, but I stay careful and within my means. This might not be over. And if this is the real bottom, no need to complain.

I like the millionaire, billionaire, difference. You said it before but this time it clicked better.

How do they (those billionaires) accumulate money? Obviously, through exploitation, through cruelty, through barbarity. In the modern world, in which man is out for himself, obviously he must be clever, cunning, dishonest, ruthless, to accumulate money.

That is, he accumulates money wrongly, and then try to use it rightly.

They are definitely crushing the markets really hard but, I think this isn't even the half of it. They may have fired a couple rounds from a pistol but, they still have rocket launchers and nukes.

The question is, where is the bottom and how high will the prices skyrocket when they open the floodgates and start raking in some real profit. I don't think they will keep destroying the prices for much longer. Maybe another couple months max. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong and they obliterate crypto pushing it to the ground. Btc 100$, FUD like we never seen before.

The only thing I can't agree with you on is that people aren't inherently sheep. They are. If they weren't, governments would have been outlawed a long time ago, fiat wouldn't exist, a form of anarchy would rule the world and we would be free.

Furthermore are you familiar with the situation in China? The commies pushed their sheep tightly against the wall, like no other regime in history and the sheep aren't even flinching. On the contrary, they are praising slavery to the AI/big brother.

The lower the market goes now, the more I can buy. The hardest part is resisting the urge to get in and I have already cracked a few times. Steem Monsters is providing a nice distraction. I'm also doing 10k steps a day with Actifit. I find it funny that Steem was at a much higher price when there were less reasons to buy it :)

Not only can the markets remain irrational but markets like these in evolving technology like blockchain, also creates inefficient markets. These are the best markets to make money on as the value and price are more often not aligned. As we see this adjustment in the cryptocurrency market, many prices will fall below their value, if not already in some assets. As they all, like STEEM, follow bitcoin many will go below their value just because of the general direction of the market. Therefore, these markets also provide some great opportunities. Personally, I am betting on STEEM given the value of its community!

Thanks for your motivation, we really need that. But the most important about crypto is the concept. If the idea of this market is to make us get rid of the middle man, so it will be big for sure. I feel it's just a beginning of something great. I'm following bitcoin for more than 4 years and if we take a look at the big picture, it's not a big deal to see btc 3k or even 2k. We need just to give it time. I think bitcoin will be always on the top. It's the father.

@theycallmedan, Yes brother, we need forward thinking and forward thinking can help us to make those choices which at this moment can stay under the question and darkness but when the right point of time comes then that Choice and Decision will going to spread the light and everyone will going to accept that.

We all are interconnected and Cryptocurrency Market is not about the one individual aspect, it have to face diversified aspects both good and bad, so it will going to face the ups and downs, but now this is the point of rising up and have to see the real thing because until we will not see what is happening, we cannot see what can take place so, we have to be accept forward thinking in that way we can control. Keep up brother. 👍

Banks were always suck and the problem is the world is going towards the bank to bank deals so everything will be dealt with debit cards. I'm aiming for a world where we can use our crypto currency to buy milk! Or shampoo!!

@theycallmedan, I'm so sorry for this but I will like to say my thoughts generally speaking sir because I can really play this particular video. Both for Marco and Micro thought about cryptos generally I wouldn't say negative word but it just a market fluctuation margins things will definitely go best soon. I know for sure, when things want to go best at its peak it is always like this, bad times first, manipulation follows then best market💹 economy price stable. Buffet did give some good advice: "Sell when others are greedy and buy when others are fearful." - It has been a DCA kind of market for me and will look to spend large chunks when the bottom firms up.

If bitcoin reached 100$ it would be replaced by a more centralized coin that has funding and staying power. I don't personally believe 5 years from now we will have a 100$ bitcoin. It will either be worth a few dollars or tens of thousands of dollars.

If I’m not mistaken, it is illegal. But the CFTC has looked the other way for years in the case of the manipulation of silver’s price, wouldn’t be surprised if they were as spineless with Bitcoin.

What you said about the billionaires type of manipulation makes sense, stomp the market and buy it all back. Sometimes before shvt even reach the market.

I wonder when the world will wake up and realize that corruption and greed is the reason why we need blockchain and crypto-currencies. And that is the exact reason why governments and greedy companies are fighting it.

That is because it is new. Staying power is what matters now. The network effect, people who have heard of Steem for example, this does not go away. They can manipulate the price but not the builders.

Because bitcoin, steem and sbd prices have dropped, many have stopped steemit running. In the year 2017 the steemit's popularity was rising at that rate. Many people thought that steemit can go before facebook. But in 2018, steemit's popularity has decreased greatly.

Steemit's is as known as it ever has been. Staying power is what matters. Steemit laying off 70% of it's employees went viral, and if Steem is still around 2 years from now, the layoff + survival will be looked at as a plus.

Yep, DCAing works just fine for me. Weekly like clockwork. Another thing is a extended time frame. I really don't get all the drama with the bear market. I see it as a great chance to accumulate.

Steem price is very low now and i mistake this opportunity because I have no money to buy steem . I am a student so , my father not give me some extra money. I am very sad for this that I miss this opportunity . My all friend power up their account but I can not doing this . I am sure that steem price raise very soon. I think before Christmas increase steem price and all good coin price
