Why do we want bitcoin to be short sold?

During the stock crash in 2008, gold went down just as hard as the stocks. We know that gold bugs were not running out with their bullion and selling it... so we can deduce that gold was and is being manipulated in paper.

If say Jimmy Demon shorts bitcoin, we know he doesn't have to buy a bitcoin when he shorts it so he is purchasing nothing or some paper stating his short position. He is a bank cartel so he can short as much as he wants. Short, short, short, short, short, just keep shorting, no problem for him and his ilk.

We should not hand over the keys to the bank cartel.

I was reading on Coin Desk that these scum bankers are setting up to short bitcoin in December 2017 (a month). Should we get out of bitcoin and into ethereum or some other crypto that they can't short?

Personally I'd rather not allow them to short bitcoin. They'll control bitcoin just like they control gold with the gold future contracts.
