Bitcoin faucets seriously mess with our desires. We want money. They want traffic.

They create an addiction in us, and we end up winning nothing. Most faucets require a ridiculously high satoshi balance before cashing out to one's wallet is possible.
Full disclosure: I ain't cashed out even once!
One of the most reputed bitcoin faucets around is @ https://freebitco.in It is supposedly paying out people since 2013. Apart from the faucet, it also has a provable hi-lo game. I lost all the coins I earned on the site by playing this game. It's pretty darn addicting. My bad!

I guess it makes sense to not expect anything big from faucets, including this one that's hurt me so bad :(
The most sensible thing to do on such a site is to probably use the faucet every now-and-then and gamble very little.
