Having been in the Crypto space for quite a while, I can comfortably say I have gathered enough knowledge and experience to know my left from my right in the Crypto community. In this episode of staying safe in the Crypto jungle   am gonna give you guys a little tip I use to avoid Crypto exchange phishing sites & exchange account hacks .

1:Dont be tempted to type in the name of the Crypto exchange you want to visit all the time in a browser, as this is the easiest way to fall prey to phishing sites due to misspelling.

2: also in reference to no:1,always get the exchange URL of the coin you want to trade from a site like coinmarketcap.com.This is a sure way of making sure that the URL your visiting is authentic and is not a phishing site.

3:After visiting the exchange website for eg like bittrex or binance, save the URL in a notepad app either on your mobile phone or on your laptop so as to have easy access to them each time you want to visit the site and not always typing the name in your web browser each time you want to log in into your account and do some trades .

4:Avoid using the same password for all your exchange accounts. This is very crucial as it stops hackers from compromising your accounts.when your use different strong passwords for your different accounts ,it makes it hard for the hacker to figure them out and even if they eventually do ,it would just be one account and others won't be affected cos they have an entirely different password. An excellent way to go about this is to start using a password manager like lastpass.what lastpass does is that it let's you create an encrypted account using a master password known to you only.   when your done creating your lastpass account, you can then generate different strong passwords for your different Crypto exchange accounts without having to remember them at all.
All you have to remember is your lastpass master password and your good to go.

5: last but not the least, always use a 2FA on all your Crypto exchange accounts this will help put a top layer security on your accounts and will also make it difficult for hackers to penetrate your account to steal your funds. Hope this tips were helpful and keeps you one step safer in the Crypto jungle.
