While having the extreme pleasure of handing over $140 USD to Dish Network early this morning, I discovered that Dish accepts Bitcoin for paying your monthly bill. I guess this is something that they've done for a while now, as the press releases and help files from a Google search showed info from 2014. Who knew!

I suppose I should actually be looking at the web pages I send money on, but I never had a clue. I guess I hate Dish Network just a little bit less now.

Are there anymore places that take crypto as payment I'm not aware of?

There are tons. I have spent some bitcoin over the years, Newegg, Gyft, Tiger Direct, Overstock and Expedia. A lot of companies started accepting bitcoin in 2013-2014 after the rise to $1200, but when the price dwindled from 2014-2016 the excitement of places taking btc did also. https://99bitcoins.com/who-accepts-bitcoins-payment-companies-stores-take-bitcoins/

Was walking trough Las Vegas last week and saw some huge signs from casino's accepting Bitcoin as well. Not that i have the intention to sell or give away my BTC any time soon . lol

But it sure it cool to see it getting a wider acceptance :)

I saw a BTC ATM in whatever Fitzgerald's is called now. That was over a year ago.
